When I received a call from Carrie asking if I could shoot an Irish candlelight ceremony at 9:00pm in the dark,  I immediately said yes and was up for the challenge (and a challenge it was!)  I wanted to do it because I had never photographed a wedding in the pitch dark and I wanted something unique!  This beautiful candlelight celtic ceremony started out with a first look followed by a few photos of family, friends and the couple!  The kilts, the bagpiper, the fog…we were in Ireland…in theory.  A dinner followed with the ceremony taking place last….in the dark with a light Irish mist!  The guests all held lanterns to create just enough light to see.    It was magical.  Toasts and desert followed.  Congratulations to Carrie and Mark and thank you for your trust in me.  And thank you for some nice unique portfolio shots!!  If you would like to see the entire collection of wedding images, please click on the above order/view link on August 30, 2012!
