When country singer/songwriters Kimberly June and Dave Thomson moved to Nashville to pursue their music careers who knew they would chance meet in a restaurant and fall in love. They both moved to Nashville in search of the same dream. David enjoyed a #1 hit called Wave-California by his band WAVE and singed on to SONY and Kimberly signed on Tom-Leis Music and writes songs for a living. Two years later, they marry at Kimberly’s private family home on Long Lake, Naples Maine! I was very honored to be chosen as their photographer. They chose a red white and Navy nautical theme with lots of gorgeous details. I loved the jars wrapped in raffia hanging from the trees! Many of the 170 guests traveled from all over the U.S. and Canada and arrived by boat to the wedding. I loved the Canadian and American flags being displayed throughout. The father of the groom and the father of the bride each held a flag as they toasted the bride and groom which was very symbolic and heartfelt at the same time. I loved that the groom danced with his mom to his song SLEEPLESS again by his band WAVE! The second part of the reception was held on the Songo River Queen until 2:00am! Lucky guests!!
