I had the pleasure of photographing both Megan and Ryan’s engagement photos in the Old Portland in Portland, Maine as well as their beautiful Hiltonwedding!  After the ceremony in the gorgeous St. John’s Church, we headed back to the Hilton.  Blue hydrangeas seem to be so popular this year and I love it!  The whole wedding was definitely a “something blue” theme throughout!  I LOVED the blue and white Birkel…Est 2011 platter that all of the guests signed as a guests book.  What a great keepsake!  They also brought in a “livingroom set” for a nice comfy seating area in the reception hall.  Loved that!  I was also so flattered that they used their engagement photos as centerpieces and I especially loved how they used their casual walking with coffee cups photo at their coffee station!  Another element that I found very well thought out is that during the ceremonial dances, the slideshow was displaying photos of the family.  It was very surreal and sentimental to watch!  DJ Dana Wilson entertained the guests well into the night and the dancing never stopped!  Loved his lighting!  If you would like to see the entire wedding and/or order a print or two, please click HERE.
