When I was contracted to photograph Amanda and Nick’s wedding out in the middle of nowhere in “east gish” as they say, I really didn’t know what I was in for.   I mean, even my GPS lady had trouble finding this place.  After many right and left turns up windy dirt roads in the foothills of the white mountains,  I finally arrived.  OK, it was a barn.  When I stepped inside, I was immediately in awe.  Stone Mt. Arts Center is a beautiful timber framed music hall with a state of the art sound system that hosts national acts when not doing weddings.  The retro details (like old movie theater seats at the cocktail tables), were just plain cool!   So kudos to Amanda and Nick for providing their guests with this amazing venue (and me)!!  Amanda and Nick chose fall colors to compliment the retro decor.  The guests were treated to exceptional food, fine wines and imported beer and not one of them EVER took a smile off of their face!  The party was FUN, the ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt and the photos out in the field??  STUNNING and FUN.   Congratulations Amanda and Nick!!  The entire collection of wedding images will be up on the gallery for print ordered shortly!  Until then, please enjoy the sneak peek below! – Kim Chapman, Maine wedding photographer for Amanda and Nick
