Well….I’m convinced that David and Elsbeth could write a best seller book about their wedding!   What an action packed day filled with fun, laughter, limos getting lost, busses getting stuck,  lots and lots of snow and wind….but hey, what a story to tell to your kids someday!  Just to add to the action, Elsbeth and David’s grand entrance to the Grand Summit was skiing down through the ski poles of Sunday River employees.  However, David’s ski broke at the top and had to struggle to get down.  LOVE IT!!!!  All of it!!  Of course the most important thing was that they were married!  The ceremony  at St. John’s church was very heartfelt and beautiful.   The reception was one of the most fun receptions I’ve ever witnessed!!  193 guests danced (well…not danced but DANCED) non-stop all night long.  PERFECTION!  I LOVED the ceremonial shot that the bride, groom, best man and maid of honor took from the wooden ski.  The shot glasses were attached to the ski and filled and tipped and drank all at once.   David and Elsbeth definitely incorporated their great senses of humor into their wedding….like the cocktail napkin that said simply “Els and David met a bar”! Love it!
