Since I am totally at a loss for words about this spectacular wedding, I thought I’d do something different and have this post come from the bride’s prospective.  Here are a combination of two different e-mails that I got from her afterward, part of which were answers to questions that I had asked her.

FROM THE BRIDE:  “We loved you, you fit right in perfectly with our crazy group! ( I’LL TAKE CRAZY AS A COMPLIMENT! -kc)  My dress is an Indian Sari that I got in New Delhi last September – my aunt Mary, moms best friend, Marta and my mom & I went for 2 1/2 weeks – I bought the material back to the states and made it into a western dress – it weighs over 10 lbs and has a side/waist bands and straps ! It is a Indian bridal sari – cake was made by Sin in Providence – since we had the Moroccan/Arabian theme thing going we wanted colors and to carry peacock idea through and had 6 individual wedding cakes for the October birthdays – floral and decor was Dwayne Ridgaway – I can’t say enough about him, he was incredible – John de Kadt played the hung drum for the ceremony bc I wanted something non-distinguishable to go with our catholic/Jewish/Buddhist/native American ceremony 🙂 the officiant was one of my best friends from college – band was Booga Sugar and rocked the house, we are very great friends with the guy that played the banjo for shipping up to Boston and he plays with them often – they did us a favor by coming all the way here from NYC much do to that connection, Michael and I wanted a wedding that was the most entertaining, aesthetically pleasing and fun time ever – my mom, Michael and I did the entire thing w help from Dwayne – we wanted universal, new age, love all that ! 2nd marriage for him, first for me ! And he is great ! Oh and the belly dancer from Daughters of Rhea, spectacular !!!”

Thank you Marisa and Michael.  I was truly honored that you chose me as your photographer!  Also, a big thank you to my second shooter Lisa Bowe!
